Piazza di Spagna is one of the most famous and evocative squares in Rome, known for the spectacular Spanish Steps, composed of 135 steps and built in the 18th century to connect the square to the church of Trinità dei Monti. In the center of the square is the Fontana della Barcaccia, created by Pietro and Gian Lorenzo Bernini, which depicts a half-submerged boat in memory of the frequent floods of the Tiber.

Surrounded by elegant historic buildings, the square is a meeting point loved by Romans and tourists, and is surrounded by fashion boutiques, shops and historic cafes. Every spring, the steps are adorned with colorful flowers, making the place even more enchanting.
